These unwind stands are specially designed for tissue, the material roll is driven by belts. This way the tension-sensitive tissue is fed very "gently" to the following (sometimes dynamical) process. The unwind stands can be equipped with individual drives or driven via a "line shaft" from the central drive of the processing line.

These special calenders are used for combining (doubling) tissue paper in the processing line. They are installed in the processing line between the unwind stands and the embossing unit. The two calendering rolls can either be equipped with individual drives or driven via a "line shaft" from the central drive of the processing line.
